Today is the day set aside to honor all the mothers in our lives. One day out of 365. Sometimes I think it should be the other way around and that we should set aside only one day each year to not concentrate on all that we owe to these ladies.
This goes out to all the mothers, birth, adopted, surrogate, whatever, and to all the ladies who find themselves serving in the the role of mother to someone or something special in their lives.
This song is to illustrate what all the men in your lives thought, said or meant to have said on this day. Happy Mother’s Day to you all.
I’ll have to give it a listen! Thanks for the youtube link!

So pretty
Thanks for the reblog, Sherri.
I enjoyed the music and the story he told. Lets’ hope he’s not missing his single days in his bachelors’ pad.
My take on the lyrics is that here is a man expressing a very Zen realization that what he has is really all that he wants or needs. “There is no greater sin than desire, No greater curse than discontent, No greater misfortune than wanting something for oneself. Therefore he who knows that enough is enough will always have enough.” Lao Tzu.
