Indiana Moonlight

Holding you

Pretending to not be holding you.

Remembering those times

That simply passed on by.

I could easily say, “I love you,”

And it would please you.

And at this moment in time I would truly mean it.

But this night’s reality

Will never survive tomorrow’s dawn.
