Time to share another pair of pages from Life Under the Freeway.
Those who have followed this series know that I am sharing the book, two pages at a time, randomly drawn. I have no particular time line, just something to do as the mood strikes. The book follows a story arc which will not be apparent by reading random posts but if anyone is interested they can use the look inside feature on Amazon.
Note: The book will not be available on Amazon for a few a short while. My publisher, Lulu.com, pulled it from distribution because of what they termed a discrepancy in the table of contents. In the TOC I had listed page 33 as “CHRYSALIS” while on that page the title was “whatever that word is for when a butterfly leaves its cocoon”. I thought I was being clever. You look at contents, see “chrysalis” turn to the page and get the question. Not so clever after all. Lulu thought it was just another mistake. Anyhoo, the book has been “corrected” and now has to work its way back into the distribution channels.
And today’s numbers are: 26 and 44. Here goes.
